Design

Proper grading is the foundation of any great landscape design, shaping the land to control drainage, define spaces, and create long-term stability.

From Concept to Reality
Retaining Wall Design to Installation

For this project, the homeowner wanted to transform one of the only sunny areas in the yard into a functional gardening space. Planting on the existing slope was difficult and inefficient, so our team designed and built a tiered retaining wall system with integrated stairs to create wide, flat terraces perfect for raised beds and easy access.

The new layout removes the challenges of gardening on a hillside and maximizes every inch of available sunlight. The result is a clean, sturdy, and highly usable garden area that blends beautifully with the surrounding landscape—giving the homeowner the productive, sun-filled planting space they were looking for.

The landscape installed by Integrity Landscapes was designed to enhance overall property beauty while also providing practical benefits like erosion control. Through properly graded planting beds, strategic hardscaping, and well-placed materials, the design helps stabilize soil, manage water runoff, and create a clean, polished outdoor aesthetic.

The Power of Proper Design

What was once a bumpy, eroding driveway was transformed into a proper, welcoming entrance by installing a 15-inch concrete drainage pipe to standard. We then used natural stone sourced directly from the property to stabilize the area and give the entrance a clean, functional, and cohesive look that fits the landscape.
